Since its’ inception 5 years ago this sunny, casual Sichuan private kitchen (unlicensed restaurant), the Yellow Door remains one of the culinary focal points in SoHo. Owner “Mr Lau” satisfies guests by sourcing fresh ingredients and spices from Sichuan to prepare native dishes which cannot be found elsewhere. "Ma Por" Tofu (Bean Curd and Minced meat cooked in Sichuen spicy sauce) is a little wonder and a memorable stuffed Hangzhou-style "8-treasure duck," which is stuffed with sticky rice and braised is an exquisite lesson in texture and flavouring. The set dinner, including eight starters, six mains, and dessert, is great value and offers diners a crash course in the cuisine of the Sichuan region
