Taxi Dining Room is located on the first level of the renowned Transport Hotel complex in the south west corner of Federation Square. The vantage point allows panoramic views along the Yarra and takes in most of Melbourne’s iconic landmarks including the MCG, Rod Laver Arena, Government House, South Bank, The Arts Centre and, of course, Federation Square. Complete with exceptional service from highly knowledgeable staff and an award winning menu by Executive Chef, Michael Lambie, it is the ideal venue to entertain interstate or international guests. The “River Room”, appropriately named for its views overlooking the river, is neatly tucked away from the main action, curtained off and catering up to 34 guests for a private lunch or dinner. “Taxi Terrace” can entertain up to 45 guests seated or 65 guests as a stand up cocktail event. Newly renovated, it now boasts a temperature controlled environment suitable for conferences, lunch or dinners all year round.
