Argentinian Chef Maria Barrutia trained with not one but two of the worlds most renowned chefs, France’s Michel Bras and Spains Ferran Adria, so little wonder that when she came back to Buenos Aires, her modern eclectic menu caused quite a stir. Though the place may be small and unassuming (like her menu) the demand for tables is colossal. The menu is an homage to both the ingredients of her homeland and classic European technique, fusing together the best of both continents. An innovator in her own right she creates new dishes to accommodate the freshest seasonal produce and even puts her own spin on Bras’ very own classics like molten chocolate cake. First class.
