Although it’s in the heart of Munich, this restaurant is a cherished secret for those who have enjoyed its exquisite blending of French cuisine with the conviviality of "Italy’s most northern city". Finely upholstered seating in warm cream hues, plenty of room between the tables and a window along the entire length of the room, all combine to lend it a touch of Parisian elegance, or alternatively, there’s European and Asian design elements are blended together at the "table gourmande" in the adjoining room, which provides an ideal setting for dining in a smaller group. The restaurant calls on the advice of the sensational Michel Rostang, who runs the 2-Star "Michel Rostang" restaurant in Paris as well as the design bistro "Rue Balzac". In Munich, the kitchen is in the hands of a genuine Franconian: Alexander Michel. Both men swear by fresh ingredients and natural aromas, with the restaurant taking daily delivery of fresh products from exclusive importers or regional producers. There are over 80 top-quality wines of various vintage years stored in the wine cellars, focusing primarily on wines from France and Germany. A choice of cognacs and cigars from Cuba or the Dominican Republic round off an experience of fine taste.
