This restaurant is very stylish, and very conscious of maintaining the top-notch standards usually associated with upscale hotel restaurants in Paris. It occupies a duet of stately rooms, outfitted in tones of imperial blue and gold, on the lobby level of Frankfurt's most prestigious hotel. Don't think you can go slumming if you drop in for a bite here. Jackets and (preferably) ties are recommended for gentlemen. Menu items are cultivated, posh, and beautifully prepared and presented -- the descriptions alone will make you drool. Look for brilliant combinations such as gooseliver terrine with orange compote and unusual soups (cauliflower with nut butter, for example) created daily. As far as main courses, we highly recommend the saddle of venison in an herb crepe with red cabbage and pear chutney, or the grilled sea bass with two kinds of parsley and a ragout of mussels. One popular choice is saddle of suckling pig and pigs' feet with stuffed vegetables, caramelized garlic, and a purple mustard sauce. We were indeed impressed
