The Remington continues in high style within the houston St Regis, updated in romantic red interior hues. While many contemporary restaurants like to dazzle with a small selection of signature dishes, the Remington offers a long list of classics. Throwbacks like watercress sandwiches, whole-leaf Caesar salad and lobster-crab bisque will make you feel like you're dining at the Plaza or even the Brown Derby. And the Remington is not without celebrity-movie stars who have been spotted enjoying prosciutto carpaccio (sliced so thin they could almost read their scripts through it) with Spanish cheese and first-pressed olive oil, or noshing at the seafood brunch buffet.
