Mikano is all about fabulous architecture, vibrant color, sensational sea views, good jazz, fine wine, and innovative food. Recently refurbished by international design guru Tom Skyring Mikano is the perfect place for an intimate evening or a large function. Head Chef John Flack (now with a tenure of over 10 years) has won numerous awards for his eclectic, often themed menu -- from the temporary Italian menu, grilled quail with grapes and verjuice, and roasted veal with porcini mushrooms and braised radicchio. The menu’s seemingly change with the wind making use of the finest fish, meat and the full quota of the local, seasonal ingredients to full extent. The wine list is vast, and the sofas in the chic New York style bar are just the place to sample a few cheeky glasses.
