Service is meticulous with attentive staff always on hand to suppress diners’ every whim. From the minute you walk through the famous white framed entrance you are transformed into a world unto itself…whatever is going on in the outside world is inconsequential in here, there are only two orders of interest, food and the guest. Savoy classic signatures like “côte” de gros turbot” sit comfortably alongside the more recent efforts like purée de pommes de terre à la truffe, (truffle soup) proving that Savoy’s is a timeless skill not current fad.
